Terms of Service

The rules for paid listings on Vermont Beer Guide and our other sites: plans, billing, cancellation and refunds.

Effective date: October 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between US Beer Guides, LLC ("US Beer Guides", "we", "us") and the brewery or person who buys or uses a paid listing ("you"). They cover paid listings on Vermont Beer Guide at vermontbeerguide.com and our other sites, usbeerguides.com and our state guides (together, the "Sites").

US Beer Guides, LLC is a Georgia limited liability company, wholly owned by Longwood Capital Holdings, LLC.

Mailing address: 4279 Roswell Rd STE 208-133, Atlanta, GA 30342

If you buy a paid listing, you agree to these Terms. If you're buying for a brewery, you confirm that you're allowed to act for it.

1. Free listings and editorial independence

Every operating brewery in our live states gets a free Basic listing. There's no charge to be included or to keep your information accurate, and you never have to buy anything to stay listed. Paying for an upgrade never decides whether a brewery is listed, and it doesn't change how we research and verify listings. Paid status never affects our editorial judgment, our research, or what we write about any brewery.

2. Paid listings

We currently offer two paid upgrades. What each one includes is described on our For Breweries page. If those details and these Terms ever differ, the email you received with your order controls.

  • Premium profile: $19/month or $190/year. It adds your logo and photos, your story and highlights, social links and a prominent website button, a button to your own events page, and a "Verified by brewery" badge, because the content comes from you.
  • Featured placement: $49/month or $490/year for City/Region Featured, and $99/month or $990/year for Statewide Featured. It includes everything in Premium, plus top placement in the lists where visitors are already looking. Featured spots are limited: each city or region list has at most 10% of its breweries as Featured (at least 1 and no more than 3 spots), and there are at most 12 Statewide Featured breweries per state. If an area is full, we'll offer you a waitlist place. If you hold a Featured spot, you get first refusal on it at renewal, as long as your subscription renews without a break.
  • Extra locations: if your brewery has more than one location, each extra location of the same brand can have its own Premium profile for $14/month or $140/year. This applies to locations in any of our states, billed to one billing contact. The multi-location rate applies to Premium only. Featured placement is priced in full for each location.
  • There's no setup fee for any paid listing.

Your paid features start once we've received your payment and the content we need from you, and we've published your upgraded profile.

3. Billing, renewal and price lock

  • Paid listings are subscriptions, billed monthly or annually, whichever you choose at checkout.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's terms and privacy policy also apply to your payment.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, for the same length of time, and we charge the payment method on file unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Founders price lock: if you sign up for a paid listing on or before December 31, 2027, your price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active without a break. If you cancel, or your subscription ends because a payment isn't made, the price lock ends, and any later subscription is at the then-current price.
  • For subscriptions without a price lock, renewals are at the then-current price. If we change prices for those subscriptions, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to your next renewal.
  • Renewal reminders: for annual plans, we will email you a reminder about 30 days before each renewal date, with the renewal date, the amount, and how to cancel.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If it still isn't paid, we may return your profile to a free Basic listing until payment is made. Your free listing stays.
  • Prices don't include any taxes that may apply.

4. Cancellation

  • You can cancel any plan at any time on your own at Manage your plan (our Stripe billing portal), or by emailing [email protected].
  • When you cancel, your paid features continue until the end of the period you've already paid for. It will not renew after that. Your listing then returns to a free Basic listing. It is never removed because you cancelled.

5. Refunds

  • Monthly plans: no refunds. Monthly payments are non-refundable, including partial months. After you cancel, your listing keeps its paid features until the end of the current month.
  • Annual plans: 14-day full refund. If you ask for a refund within 14 days after you first buy an annual plan, or within 14 days after an annual renewal charge, we will refund that annual payment in full and end the plan. After that window, annual payments are non-refundable. If you cancel after the window, your plan stays active until the end of the paid year.
  • Exceptions. We may grant a full or partial refund outside these rules at our sole discretion, for example if we could not deliver the listing because of an error on our side. Granting an exception once does not oblige us to grant it again.
  • How to ask for a refund. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with your brewery name and the date of the charge. Cancelling in the billing portal does not by itself request a refund. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank may take several business days to show them.

6. Content you supply

"Brewery content" means anything you send us for your listing, such as logos, photos, descriptions, your story, links and events-page URLs.

  • License: you keep ownership of your brewery content. You give US Beer Guides a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, host, copy, resize, crop, format and display it on the Sites for as long as you have a listing with us, plus a reasonable time to remove it afterward.
  • Your promise to us: you confirm that you own your brewery content, or have permission to use it, including any logos, trademarks, photos and people shown in photos. You also confirm that using it as described here won't infringe anyone else's rights. You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim arises because that promise wasn't true.
  • Accuracy: you're responsible for keeping the information you supply accurate. Information on a Premium profile comes from you, which is why it carries a "Verified by brewery" badge.
  • When you cancel, or if you ask us to, we'll remove your brewery content from your profile within a reasonable time.

7. Our right to edit or reject content

We may edit brewery content for length, format, clarity, spelling or consistency with the Sites' style. We may decline or remove content that we believe is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, infringing, offensive, or that promotes irresponsible or underage drinking. We'll tell you if we reject something and give you the chance to send a replacement. Our research team keeps verifying the factual details on every listing, such as address, hours and status, whether the listing is free or paid.

8. No guarantee of results

We work hard to help people find and visit breweries, but we don't guarantee any number of visitors, views, clicks, calls, customers, sales, or any ranking or position in search engines such as Google. Featured placement means a top spot within our own lists as described on our For Breweries page. It doesn't mean any particular result outside the Sites. The Sites may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

9. Ending a paid listing

We may end a paid listing if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if your brewery permanently closes. If we end it for any reason other than your breach, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid period. If we close the Sites or stop offering a paid feature, we'll refund the unused part of your prepaid period.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the Sites and paid listings are provided "as is." We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim relating to your paid listing is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, unless the law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll email active paid customers at least 30 days before it takes effect, and we'll update the effective date above.
