Long Trail Brewing Co

Long Trail Brewing Company is a Vermont brewery in Bridgewater Corners, named for and inspired by the 273-mile Long Trail that runs through the Green Mountains. Long Trail Ale was first brewed in 1989. At that time the brewery was known as the Mountain Brewers and worked from a modest brewhouse in the basement of Bridgewater Corners’ Old Woolen Mill. The aim was an affordable American-made beer to compete with the pricey German and English imports on store shelves. Through its Ales for Trails program, it supports trail preservation, conservation and accessibility around the state. The lineup includes Long Trail Ale, VT IPA, Riverside Lager, Double Bag, Blackbeary Wheat and seasonal mix packs. The Long Trail Pub has indoor and outdoor seating and hosts private events, and the company also runs the Long Trail Lodge.
