Rock Art Brewery

Rock Art Brewery is a second-generation, family-run craft brewery in Morrisville. Founder Matt opened a home-brewing supply store at the family’s house before moving into a full seven-barrel brewery. Both of his sons now work in the business. Rock Art emphasizes quality control, using lab analysis of its grain, hops and yeast and precise equipment to measure dissolved oxygen, carbonation and pH. It cans its beer on a German-made canning line. The tasting room serves flights and pints, with beer to go, and doubles as a gallery showing work by around 80 Vermont artists. The lineup has ranged from a pilsner and the Ridge Runner amber ale to a Vermont maple wheat ale, a stout, a coconut vanilla porter and a double IPA. Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome on the porch and in the downstairs area.
