About

Kingdom Brewing is a farm brewery in Newport that calls itself the northernmost brewery in Vermont. Founders Brian and Jenn Cook set out to make genuine craft beer from many locally produced ingredients. They start with American-grown grains and blend heirloom recipes and farm chemistry with maple sap, spruce tips, berries and other ingredients from their own farm and greenhouse to make seasonal beers that range from light to robust. The name and inspiration come from the Northeast Kingdom, a term Senator George Aiken first used in public in 1949. The taproom, called the BrewCabin, has 12 taps of longtime favorites and experimental beers, with guest drafts alongside. The house range has included maple brown ales, milk stouts, IPAs and a maple tripel. The BrewCabin is family- and pet-friendly, serves wood-fired pizza, and hosts live music and holiday parties.
