Beer Naked Brewery
About
Beer Naked Brewery, established in 2009, stands beside the Hogback Mountain scenic overlook in Marlboro. Set on the saddle of the 2,410-foot mountain along Route 9 between Wilmington and Brattleboro, it calls itself New England’s highest-altitude brewery and wood-fired pizza restaurant. Mount Snow is about 15 minutes away. Many of its ales, IPAs and stouts start with New England heirloom hops from Hoppy Valley in Pownal, a grower that revives forgotten varieties found on old farms. The kitchen bakes pizza at 700 degrees for a crisp crust and uses local ingredients where it can. Guests can sit indoors or on the patio, and live music is on the calendar. The property also offers camping, bookable through Hipcamp, with fire pits and access to hiking, snowmobiling and a nearby lake. Private parties can be arranged. The brewery is cash only and has an ATM on site.
