North Chair Brewing

North Chair Brewing is a craft brewery and tasting room in downtown Brattleboro. Its 15-barrel brewhouse produces all of its beer, which is sold around New England. The tasting room is designed to recall the lodge at Maple Valley, a ski area that the company calls its intended home and the place where the brewery got its start. Visitors can try the newest beers there, watch the brewers at work, or pick up four-packs to take home or bring along on outdoor trips. North Chair plans to turn the Maple Valley lodge into a pilot brewery, tasting room and event space, and to open the old ski trails for a range of outdoor activities. The company makes beer under two names, North Chair and Whetstone. It is also a member of the Vermont 30 Collective.
