Kraemer & Kin

Kraemer & Kin is a family-owned brewery in North Hero, in Vermont’s Lake Champlain islands, tied to the family’s farm, North Hero Hops & Agriculture. The brewery launched in 2020 in Levi and Christie Kraemer’s small garage, with an early partnership with the Green Tara Art Space. In 2022 the family moved the operation north to the basement of the Alburgh Golf Links clubhouse, where they also took over the clubhouse and turned it into a taproom, brewhouse and restaurant. After three years in Alburgh, they returned to North Hero, settling in an old house overlooking City Bay in the village, next to Hero’s Welcome. The brewery’s offerings include its beer, wood-fired pizza and events, and its agriculture side has been growing hops for more than a decade.
