Weird Window Brewing

Weird Window Brewing is a South Burlington brewery owned and run by local residents Jack and Emily Droppa. Jack oversees the brewing, and Emily runs the taproom, merchandise and events. The brewery opened in July 2020, early in the COVID-19 pandemic. When in-person service was suspended that November, it kept going with order pickups and began distributing its beer around Vermont, then fully reopened in 2021. Rather than specializing in one style, Weird Window aims to have a beer for everyone, and the brewers make beers they enjoy drinking. The rotating taproom lineup covers lagers, pale ales, IPAs, red and brown ales and stouts. The brewhouse puts a three-barrel pilot system and a 15-barrel production system on the same brew deck, and a seven-barrel lagering tank lets the brewers age lagers in the traditional way. The taproom is small and has up to ten beers on tap.
